Our second edition of Wok for 1000 is taking place on the 31st of October 2017 in the prestigious and fabulous food venue; Borough Market.

Wok for 1000 is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative from School of Wok in collaboration with Borough Market and Plan Zheroes

During this event we will be working to raise awareness about food waste and food poverty across our capital. Participants will get to learn how to cook up a selection of delicious Asian dishes under the supervision of School of Wok founder Jeremy Pang and his team of experienced chefs, with the overall aim of producing 1000+ meals that will be donated to those in need.

Your team’s hard work will be rewarded by sitting down to enjoy a meal at the end of the cookery session, along with a prize draw and entertainment.

Tickets cost £100 +VAT per person, which includes a hands-on cookery lesson, a delicious meal served with drinks, a goody bag and much, much more! All profits will go to Plan Zheroes : Getting great surplus food to people who need it.

If your company is interested in taking part in this exciting corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to raise awareness about these important issues, get in touch!

If you are unable to make this particular date but are still keen on holding a corporate event with us, here is a link to our regular corporate event packages. A firm favourite from a CSR perspective is our Cook for the Homeless package - where guests cook double the quantity required to feed themselves and donate half of their abundant meal to a local shelter to serve those in need.
